Keirokai

Prior to the pandemic, more than 100 seniors participated in our Keirokai lunch program, enjoying the Japanese food prepared by our volunteers twice a month. The lunch includes entertainment and lectures on health and aging issues. Special guests who have visited include Madame Akie Abe, wife of  Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and Madame Yuko Kishida, wife of Japan’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fumio Kishida. The homebound and community members in residential homes also receive delivery of meals, including special holiday dishes.
